Parents And Teens: Help For Challenging Times
An eight-week class beginning Sunday, September 13 at 9:15am in Room 9.
This class is targeted for parents with children getting ready to enter the teen years or who have children just becoming teenagers. Mothers and fathers are encouraged to attend together, but it’s not necessary. The topics cover a wide-range of issues including:
- The Changing Family
- Communicating With Your Kids
- Teenagers Changing Attitudes
- Self-image Struggles
- Sexuality
- Understanding Today’s Media
- Helping Your Teenager Grow Spiritually
- Faith Lutheran Church’s Youth Ministry
The course includes videos highlighting real-life stories from teenagers along with insights from nationally recognized youth ministry leader and father Jim Burns. Each session allows time for questions along with a chance to discuss common concerns and issues.
