Our winter retreat to Castaway Bay is approaching quickly.  Registration has now closed, but for those of you that are attending there are probably a few details that you will be looking for.  There is a mailing that is being sent home to share with you some of the details, but I also decided to post some of those here.

We will be leaving on Saturday, January 14th.  Please meet in the youth room at 9am.  Also our theme for the weekend will be “Show & Tell”; we are asking each student to bring an item to use for a show and tell time during a group discussion.  For parents, leaders, and students please spend some time reading through the appropriate letters and be sure to bring a medical form filled out on Saturday when we leave.

We’re less than a week away from our summer retreat, and this year is our largest retreat ever!  We’ll be heading to Lake Ann Camp for a great time.  Our theme this year is “Glow” and we’ll be talking about the simple idea that Jesus is the light of world and we shine that light to others.  If you are coming on the trip, there are a couple of things that you might need to be ready.  We sent these home, but sometimes it also helps to have them on the web.
